SoundMór is interested in site-specific community-based projects where research is a crucial tool in the creative process. Projects often include research as a preliminary phase in informing artistic practice where a piece of creative work by SoundMór is the catalyst for beginning group collaboration e.g. the production of soundscapes to bring inanimate objects to life such as in a museum object based project. Research may also be a key part of a project with group work centering on interviewing and finding specific information in order to realise the final artistic vision such as a film or book.
